Vieri will always give you good theory foundations and answer to all your questions. This includes everything on how to work a new location, set up your camera and equipment, handle the light and finally how to post process the images when you get back home. Last, but not least, Vieri is also giving you feedback on your final images finalized after you have returned home from the workshop. This is always very helpful and nice as it makes your workshop even “longer”!
For all of you thinking about joining a workshop – think no longer. Let 2018 be the year when you took your photography to the next level together with Vieri Bottazzini!

QUICK JUMP: OCTOBER 2025
In late October 2025 we went to Oregon for our first Workshop there - which regrettably was also the last, at least for the time being, given our 2023 decision to stop running Workshops in the USA and focus on developing more European destinations.
This was a Sold Out, 9-day group Workshop, with a full group made of all returning Alumni. One of them was a gentlemen on his eight Workshop with us, joining us - as he often does - with his lovely wife; the second one was a lady on her tenth one; last, the third gentleman joined us for what would have been his eleventh Workshop with us. Sadly, he endured a last-minute accident preventing him from joining us. We missed having him with us, and even more so since we will not be able to work in Oregon with him in the foreseeable future.
As always, I truly enjoyed working with a group made of all returning Alumni, and all of them coming back with us for one more photographic adventure together after having joined us so many times. First of all, for us such continuing patronage is the best indicator of the quality of our work; on the tutoring side, it offers me the possibility to fine-tune the work on our Alumni's levels and requirements. Most importantly, though, it is a real privilege to be able to follow their journey with landscape photography and be such a part of it.
If you love working on the waterside as much as I do, the Oregon Coast is a true photographer's paradise. Sea stacks, sea arches, sandy beaches, man-made artefacts, architectural landmarks, decay; the Oregon Coast has it all! Adding to the photographic interest and inspiration of it all is the Pacific Ocean, with its ever-changing weather and dramatic tides, making for a truly rewarding photographic and learning experience. During these nine days, we had fun working on the shore; we enjoyed the beautiful sunset light after the storm; we braved the wind and the cold; all in pursuit of photographic beauty!
Last but not least, the social aspect of the Workshop, always very important for us. During our The Oregon Coast October 2025 Workshop, we had a lot of fun with our group both in and out of the field, for a truly unforgettable Workshop!

The opportunity to take some images in Death Valley is definitely one of my personal highlights since I'm interested in photography. It is not only because of the beautiful scenery of the landscape. It was also because of the way how Vieri conveyed his opinion what landscape photography can be about. Always very respectful and always interested in what we were doing. Also the small size of the group did foster a very intense learning and discussion culture, while having lots of fun. The event was so convincing that together with a friend of mine I immediately did sign in for the next class with Vieri and Zeynep!
