Vieri guided us with great experience and attention through itineraries and alternative routes to get to photograph from very different angles than usual, always away from the classic “touristic” spots. We have practically seen other photographers only from afar, something that rarely happened in my previous Workshop experiences!
In 2000 I moved to Turkey, living there for 15 years. I first started exploring and photographing Cappadocia in 2007, returning many times to portray the region’s beauty. With its Fairy Chimneys, its otherworldly rock formations and its underground cities, exploring Cappadocia definitely feels like taking a tour in the land of magic, and even more so when seen from a hot air balloon at sunrise. Cappadocia landscapes are harsh and welcoming at the same time, and photographically inspiring like few other places on the planet.
Designing your Cappadocia Photography Workshop, leveraging on over a decade of experience leading more than 110 Workshops, I selected a Portfolio of locations showing the synergy of natural beauty and man-made intervention working as one through centuries of history to shape the landscape inspiring us today, with a hot air balloon tour in a private balloon to top it off.
During this Workshop, I am looking forward to putting at your service over a decade dedicated to exploring and photographing Cappadocia together with my extensive tutoring expertise, for a truly unique, rewarding and photographically inspiring learning experience!
To make the most out of your time with us, we recommend you will bring to the Workshop:
