Our Workshops attendance is limited to a maximum of 3 people, no exceptions. We believe this is the only way to guarantee you maximum photography, maximum comfort and maximum fun, for the best Workshop experience on the market!
I have been teaching for over 30 years and I love it! As a tutor, my aim has always been fostering individuality. During our Workshops together, I will pass on to you my technical and artistic knowledge without holding anything back and I will work with you to help you develop your unique vision and style, not to impose you mine.
My unique teaching style comes from a lifetime dedicated to the art of teaching arts, both in Academia and in Workshop settings. Teaching for me means a constant exchange of knowledge between equals, albeit with different experience and at different stages of our journey with the art and craft of photography. It is a two-way exchange based on osmosis, on constant attention, on mutual listening and respect; not someone imparting notions from a pedestal to others. Joining our Workshops you will learn everything I know without ever feeling like a student.
We invest years of time, dedication and love developing each of our Workshops to make sure we truly know all our locations perfectly. With us, you can be sure that we will bring you to any given location during the best season, on the best day and at the best time of the day for photography!
You are welcome to join any of our Workshops regardless of whether you are a beginner, an advanced amateur or a professional. Thanks to my teaching experience and style, you will go home with new knowledge and inspired to take your photography to the next level!
Thanks to my extensive experience with full-frame, small medium format and medium format digital, as well as with film from 35mm to large format 4x5", you will make the most out of your time with us regardless of your medium of choice!
From gear choice to setup, from taking the best picture to getting the most out of your files, during our landscape photography Workshops we will create the most effective, efficient and simple Workflow for you, both in and out of the field!
Organising our Workshops, Zeynep and I leave nothing to chance. All our logistics have been tested time and again to ensure your maximum comfort and your safety. More, on all our destinations we always have a Plan B, a Plan C and often even a Plan D to prevent any eventuality and make sure you will make the most out of your time together!
I am always happy to hear from you, and I am proud of answering all my emails as quickly as I can. Expect to hear back from me instantly, or within a few hours at most in case I am either busy leading a Workshop or if time difference is not on our side.
During our Workshops, we are together almost all day for days, making the social aspect of our trips fundamental. Zeynep and I are as serious while working as we are easygoing and friendly during our downtimes. We are looking forward to meeting you and to enjoying your company and your conversation on any topic you are interested in, from photography to art, from politics to economics, from literature to history, from music to cinema, and more.

Vieri Bottazzini is an acclaimed Italian Fine Art landscape photographer, writer and educator, with a personal style rooted in pure photographic craftsmanship. Passionate about the outdoors, Vieri believes in honouring the majestic power of our planet’s beauty by creating his iconic images using unadulterated photography only. Through his unique black & white and subtly post-processed colour images, Vieri tells stories about the relationship between nature and mankind, exploring the concepts of time and of the surreal.

A passionate teacher with over 30 years of experience, Vieri leads truly limited attendance 3-people Workshops in places like Iceland, The Faroe Islands, Scotland, Ireland, England, the USA, Italy, France and Spain, where he fully shares his knowledge and his artistry with his Alumni. Vieri’s diverse and vast Portfolio is the culmination of over 15 years of passion, love and craftsmanship, of months spent on the road every year, of hundreds of kilometres of hikes and most of all, of a lifetime’s devotion to the arts.

Vieri Bottazzini Workshops is the brainchild of Fine Art landscape photographer Vieri Bottazzini and his wife, published author Zeynep.
Vieri & Zeynep have been traveling together around the world since 2007, exploring and photographing the locations that are now available for you to enjoy during your Workshops. In 2010, Vieri decided to dedicate himself exclusively to Fine Art landscape photography. In 2015, after 5 years of meticulous preparation aimed at creating the best Workshops on the market, Vieri & Zeynep launched Vieri Bottazzini Workshops, offering both Group and Private Workshops.
In 2017, after two years running group Workshops with attendance limited to an already small number of six people, Vieri became convinced that to offer you the best tutoring, the best photographic experience and the best organisation possible the group size needed to be even smaller.
The newly launched Workshops with attendance uniquely limited to three people were an immediate success.
In 2020, Vieri pushed the envelope one step further, taking the concept of luxury, bespoke Workshop to a previously unparalleled level. Siding the traditional Private 1-1 Workshops, Vieri & Zeynep’s new Prestige 1-1 Workshops combine the great photographic experience you know and love with unique comfort and luxury, from 5 star hotels to Michelin starred restaurants and luxury SUVs, bringing to you simply the best Workshop’s experience on the market.
Since 2015, to date Vieri & Zeynep led nearly 100 Workshops all over the world, working with over 135 photographers. A whopping overall customers’ rating of 9.92/10, together with a returning customer ratio of over 60%, testifies to the extremely high quality level of the Workshops.
