What a pleasure to join Vieri and Zeynep in a new destination. Despite the fact that this was the first time this workshop had been run, all the trademark Vieri characteristics were there: the extensive list of inspiring locations, making each day productive regardless of what the weather threw at us; the gentle style of tutoring that helps you to find a better way of looking at a scene; and the meticulously researched restaurants (the chorizo hash, consumed after a particularly wet morning, was a standout). I particularly appreciated the fact the workshop used just two hotels, reducing the amount of packing and unpacking. Highly recommended!

QUICK JUMP: FEBRUARY 2026
In mid-February 2026 we went to Ireland for our first Workshop there, one we have been looking forward to since our first photographic trip there in 2012. This was a Sold Out 8-day group Workshop, featuring a full group made of all returning Alumni. One of them was a gentlemen on his twelfth Workshop with us, joining us with his wife and claiming his free Workshop earned thanks to our Ten Workshop, One Free program; the second one was a lady on her eleventh one; last, the third gentleman joined us for his eight Workshop with us. Most importantly, all of them are great people and lot of fun to travel with!
As always, it has been a real pleasure for me to introduce Ireland to a group made of all returning Alumni! As always, on one end we believe that such continuing patronage is the best sign of our work's quality; on the other end, it gives me the ability to fine-tune the work on our Alumni's levels and requirements, and the enjoyment of doing so in a wonderfully friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
The landscapes of the northern coast of Ireland offer a truly astonishing variety of photographic situations and are suitable to be tackled with many different approaches. During this Workshop we worked on landscapes and seascapes; on iconic locations as well as on ruins and decay; on natural landscapes and man-made ones. The ocean weather added to the challenge, often showering us and gracing us of its winds, making for a truly rewarding photographic and learning experience. During this trip, we did only one change of hotel, allowing us to do quite a bit of image review and post-processing, something I always find an extra plus.
After these eight days together, I was happy to see the group progressing through the different challenges the landscape and weather provided, and getting more and more confident with their compositions and photography. Last but not least, Zeynep and I truly loved the social aspect of the Workshop, something always paramount for us: during our Ireland February 2026 Workshop we really enjoyed our time with the group both in and out of the field, the food, the serious talks, the chatter and the laughter, for a truly amazing Workshop!
