Vieri guided us with great experience and attention through itineraries and alternative routes to get to photograph from very different angles than usual, always away from the classic “touristic” spots. We have practically seen other photographers only from afar, something that rarely happened in my previous Workshop experiences!
Death Valley holds a very special place in my heart and is fundamental for my career. I started exploring and photographing Death Valley in 2010, during the one-month trip in the Southwest USA that inspired me to become a professional landscape photographer, and I have been back almost every year since, often multiple times a year. With is huge variety of iconic, spectacular landscapes and more intimate, secret locations all concentrated in a relatively small area, Death Valley is one of my favourite destinations on the planet, one I have been privileged to explore and photograph multiple times, one I have been proud to share with people nearly a dozen times so far and, most importantly, one of the destinations who most helped shaping me into the photographer I became.
After running 12 Workshops in Death Valley, in 2025 we retired this Workshop to dedicate our energies to exploring and adding new amazing destinations and locations.
Designing your Death Valley Workshop, leveraging on over a decade of experience leading more than 110 Workshops, 12 of which in Death Valley, I created a comprehensive Portfolio of locations featuring both the iconic ones making Death Valley a must-go place and those inspiring, less known ones that unbelievably just sit there overlooked. Scheduling our Workshop in winter makes the likelihood of clouds higher.
Vieri and his wife Zeynep are truly first-class professionals. Every place is scoped out, planned and runs on schedule. Yet, there is flexibility to adapt the itinerary based on weather conditions and the light!
To make the most out of your time with us, we recommend you will bring to the Workshop:
