I have been exploring Cinque Terre & Tuscany since my childhood, spending many beautiful summers there, and I started photographing these amazing landscapes intensively in 2014 visiting many times a year, until in 2023 my wife and I made Tuscany our home. The quintessentially Italian, iconic landscapes of Cinque Terre & Tuscany, ranging from picturesque villages and rough seascapes to serene rolling hills and medieval towns, epitomised Italy for generations of artists and photographers. For me, they are home, and it feels like Cinque Terre & Tuscany’s beauty has always been a part of me.
Designing your Cinque Terre & Tuscany Photography Workshop, leveraging on over a decade of experience leading more than 110 Workshops, 18 of which in Cinque Terre & Tuscany so far, I selected a comprehensive Portfolio of locations ranging from the seascapes of Cinque Terre, iconic villages clinging on cliffs, to the hilly landscapes of Tuscany, world-famous for their tranquil beauty and incredibly moody under the right weather conditions.
During this Workshop, I am looking forward to putting at your service a lifetime dedicated to exploring and photographing these amazing Italian landscapes, together with my extensive tutoring expertise, for a truly unique, rewarding and photographically inspiring learning experience!

Tuscany was my second workshop with Vieri and definitely not the last one! All I can say is that spots selection was perfect, tips on composition and shooting technique in general were perfect, Vieri´s availability to answer all questions in the field was fantastic, accommodation and restaurants with amazing Italian food were perfectly chosen and last but not least Zeynep´s help with all the organization was invaluable! In short, I had a blast and I enjoyed a lot the whole week full of photography!

Vieri Bottazzini is an acclaimed Italian Fine Art landscape photographer, writer and educator, with a personal style rooted in pure photographic craftsmanship. Passionate about the outdoors, Vieri believes in honouring the majestic power of our planet’s beauty by creating his iconic images using unadulterated photography only. Through his unique black & white and subtly post-processed colour images, Vieri tells stories about the relationship between nature and mankind, exploring the concepts of time and of the surreal.
Vieri’s Fine Art work has been displayed in solo and collective exhibitions, viewed millions of times on social media and featured on leading publications such as Medium Format Magazine, LEMAG, Elements-Landscape Photography Magazine and more.
A passionate teacher with over 30 years of experience, Vieri leads truly limited attendance 3-people Workshops in places like Iceland, The Faroe Islands, Scotland, Ireland, England, the USA, Italy, France and Spain, where he fully shares his knowledge and his artistry with his Alumni. Vieri’s diverse and vast Portfolio is the culmination of over 15 years of passion, love and craftsmanship, of months spent on the road every year, of hundreds of kilometres of hikes and most of all, of a lifetime’s devotion to the arts.
