DEATH VALLEY WORKSHOP ONE-ON-ONE

DEATH VALLEY’S OTHERWORLDLY, UNIQUE LANDSCAPES

A custom-made Workshop One-on-One in Death Valley, expertly tailored on your level and requirements is the best way to expand your vision, master your landscape photography technique and perfect your post-processing while creating unique photographs of Death Valley’s otherworldly landscapes!

During this Workshop, I’ll bring you to photograph the most strangely beautiful, spellbinding, amazing landscapes of the Valley. Fear not though, we’ll not go back home with the same images that everyone else has! Thanks to my experience in Death Valley, I’ll bring you to the best spots in Badwater Basin and the Devil’s Golf Course, to photograph Zabriskie Point from an original viewpoint and to find the best of the Racetrack’s amazing Sailing Stones; finally, I’ll guide you to photograph in the vast flats of Cottonball Marsh, and to find the best, cleanest of Mesquite’s sand dunes!

Every Workshop One-on-One is organised on demand and perfectly tailored to your own level and requirements. Expert knowledge of Death Valley’s difficult to navigate landscapes, 25 years of One-on-One teaching experience, complete flexibility of dates and duration, tutor totally dedicated to you, and the unique option to revisit a location as many times as you want, will result in a most rewarding learning and photographic experience. You’ll go back from this Workshop One-on-One in Death Valley a better photographer and artist, having explored some of the World’s most beautiful landscapes and with new, wonderful photographs added to your Portfolio!

My Workshop in Death Valley are fully permitted by Death Valley National Park: for your safety and to fully enjoy your time in Death Valley, always choose a permitted Workshop!

VIERI BOTTAZZINI

LEICA AMBASSADOR | FORMATT-HITECH FEATURED ARTIST | ABIPP EP

Vieri Bottazzini (Italy, 2016)

Vieri Bottazzini (Italy, 2016)

A musician by training and a self-taught photographer, I am Leica Ambassador, Leica Akademie Italy instructor and Formatt-Hitech Featured Artist, as well as Qualified Associate of the British Institute of Professional Photography (ABIPP) and European Photographer (EP). Starting April 2018, I am Artistic Director of “The Art of Landscape”, a joint project with ImagOrbetello Photography Festival dedicated to Fine Art landscape photography.

During a two-decades long career as a solo artist in classical music, in the early 2000’s I started working as a professional photographer, photographing mostly musicians, from classical to rock and pop stars, and actors. My work has been published by Rolling Stones, Cosmo, Trendsetter and Abitare among others. As well, while living in Istanbul I worked intensely with street photography, and thanks to this work I got my first solo exhibitions, in Italy, Turkey and Finland.

Since 2010, I moved for good from interpreting a musical score to interpreting the world’s most spectacular landscapes through my camera: combining my lifelong passion for photography with my love for nature and the wilderness, I decided to dedicate myself exclusively to Fine Art landscape photography. Since then, my Fine Art work has been published and exhibited internationally and is part of various private collections.

With 25 years of teaching on my back, I firmly believe that Workshops are the best way to share my enthusiasm for photography and for the Earth’s beauty with like-minded people. My favourite destinations are Iceland, Scotland, Spain, England, the American Southwest, Turkey and, of course, Italy where I settled in 2014 after living 15 years abroad.

When I am not around the world photographing, teaching Workshops, lecturing or adjudicating competitions, I work on my photographs, prepare my Fine Art prints and write reviews and articles about photography.
