TUSCANY AND CINQUE TERRE 2019 PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

A MASTER SERIES WORKSHOP
APRIL 28-MAY 5, 2019 | MAXIMUM THREE PARTICIPANTS

Join us to develop your vision, master your landscape photography technique and perfect your post-processing abilities with the Spring 2019 edition of my Workshop in Tuscany and Le Cinque Terre, while creating spectacular photographs of the stunning Italian landscapes!

During this 8-day Workshop you’ll be amazed by the variety and beauty presented by this wide selection of Italy’s most iconic landscapes, ranging from the rough seascapes and the charming villages of Le Cinque Terre to Tuscany’s serene rolling hills and medieval towns.

In spring 2019, I’ll put my decades long knowledge of Tuscany and Le Cinque Terre at your service, taking you off the beaten path to make the most out of these amazing landscapes. Epitomizing Italian landscapes for generations of artists, Tuscany’s Val d’Orcia is characterised by beautiful rolling hills, olive groves, cypress-lined roads, vineyards, old farmhouses, little churches and medieval towns. Five old picturesque fishermen’s villages clinging on rocky hills overhanging the Mediterranean, for centuries the Cinque Terre have only been reachable via the sea, preserving their unique beauty and character until today.

The end of April is a great time to work on such famous locations in peace and still away from the crowds, while enjoying the great Italian hospitality and food: the light is beautiful, the blooming spring colours are great and thanks to my expert knowledge of the locations you’ll be able to create original, stunning images of these unforgettable landscapes!

If you are looking for an even more exclusive, tailor-made Workshop in Italy, choose my WORKSHOP ONE-ON-ONE IN TUSCANY or my WORKSHOP ONE-ON-ONE IN LE CINQUE TERRE: organised on demand, completely tailor-made on your level and requirements, my Workshop One-on-One are the top choice among my Workshops!

VIERI BOTTAZZINI

LEICA AMBASSADOR | FORMATT-HITECH FEATURED ARTIST | ABIPP EP

Vieri Bottazzini (Italy, 2016)

Vieri Bottazzini (Italy, 2016)

A musician by training and a self-taught photographer, I am Leica Ambassador, Leica Akademie Italy instructor and Formatt-Hitech Featured Artist, as well as Qualified Associate of the British Institute of Professional Photography (ABIPP) and European Photographer (EP). Starting April 2018, I am Artistic Director of “The Art of Landscape”, a joint project with ImagOrbetello Photography Festival dedicated to Fine Art landscape photography.

During a two-decades long career as a solo artist in classical music, in the early 2000’s I started working as a professional photographer, photographing mostly musicians, from classical to rock and pop stars, and actors. My work has been published by Rolling Stones, Cosmo, Trendsetter and Abitare among others. As well, while living in Istanbul I worked intensely with street photography, and thanks to this work I got my first solo exhibitions, in Italy, Turkey and Finland.

Since 2010, I moved for good from interpreting a musical score to interpreting the world’s most spectacular landscapes through my camera: combining my lifelong passion for photography with my love for nature and the wilderness, I decided to dedicate myself exclusively to Fine Art landscape photography. Since then, my Fine Art work has been published and exhibited internationally and is part of various private collections.

With 25 years of teaching on my back, I firmly believe that Workshops are the best way to share my enthusiasm for photography and for the Earth’s beauty with like-minded people. My favourite destinations are Iceland, Scotland, Spain, England, the American Southwest, Turkey and, of course, Italy where I settled in 2014 after living 15 years abroad.

When I am not around the world photographing, teaching Workshops, lecturing or adjudicating competitions, I work on my photographs, prepare my Fine Art prints and write reviews and articles about photography.
